Hall Effect Sensor: Description and Operation

HALL SENDER
The twin ignition distributor includes a Hall sender that is required to acknowledge the firing TDC position of cylinder no. 1.

The Hall signal is required by the DME control unit to correlate the knock sensor signals or to control the sequential fuel injection.
