Idle Speed

The Carrera possesses an adaptive idle speed volumetric efficiency regulator. This means that it is not necessary to adjust the idle speed of any version. In vehicles with adaptive idle speed volumetric efficiency regulation, system adaption should be performed after disconnection of the Digital Motor Electronics (DME) control unit from permanent positive and after each inspection.

Man. Trans. 880 ± 4O rpm
Tiptronic 750 ± 4O rpm
