When shipping the Tiptronic transmission for the above-mentioned vehicles, the transportation holding bracket for the torque converter must be installed and properly secured. Failure to install and properly secure the holding bracket during shipping will result in damage to the torque converter support.

Before shipping Tiptronic transmissions, remove the torque converter transportation holding bracket from the new transmission and install it securely to the transmission being returned. Be certain to drain the oil from the transmission prior to shipping.

Warranty Information:

Damage to transmission caused by a lack of/or improper installation of the support bracket will not be covered under warranty.
