Hydraulic Control Assembly - Antilock Brakes: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Mark respective positions of wheel and wheel hub for reassembly, then remove right front wheel assembly.
3. Remove wheel-arch inner panel.
4. Disconnect all brake lines, numbers one through six from hydraulic unit.
5. Disconnect ground wire, then remove mounting bolts from hydraulic-unit holder.
6. Move hydraulic unit and holder out slightly to gain access to strain relief for 12-pole plug (no. three), then disconnect strain relief and remove plug.
7. Unclip ABS wire harness from hydraulic-unit holder, then remove hydraulic unit with holder.
8. Reverse procedure to install, bleed brake system.
