Camshaft Position Sensor: Description and Operation

PURPOSE AND LOCATION
This unit is mounted on exhaust cam drive wheel. Ignition TDC of cylinder 1 is identified by its signal. Control unit allocates two knock sensor signals in accordance with firing order. Hall-effect signal is also used for sequential fuel injection control.
