Removal




1. Unlock the main headlight in the luggage compartment and remove main headlight. Unclip safely clip in mounting using a screwdriver and remove lock lever with rubber sleeve.





2. Only loosen headlight mounting through openings in inside of luggage compartment using a 5 mm Allen socket wrench. Pull mounting up slightly and remove it.





3. Remove lower part of front spoiler. Only loosen the M 6 hexagon head screws from below and take out the mounting. Unhook the electric connector. Loosen headlight rail from below and remove it.




Installation




1. Position, but do not tighten, the headlight rail and mountings. Install and secure the locking lever.
2. Install headlight and lock it in position with the locking lever. A second person must press the headlight firmly into the fender. Make sure that the headlight seal is correctly positioned in the fender.
3. Tighten the mountings in the correct order! The headlight rail must be tightened first, then the left and right mountings.
Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7 ft lb).
4. Check whether the headlight can be locked and unlocked. Adjust headlight using adjustment unit.
