If the ATF is carbonized, or if there is sludge or evidence of lining abrasion in the ATF pump, it is not sufficient merely to repair or replace the gearbox, the ATF cooler and line system must be flushed with ATF.

Attach additional hose of ATF filling device using special tool 9355/1 to ATF line with conventional twin connecting piece and flush out cooler and line system using filling device. Fluid must not be split on the ground.
