Engine/Transmission Separation

Procedure
1. Remove wires from starter and reversing lights.








2. Remove hexagon head screw M 6 x 16, bracket and bearing cover.
- Extract release lever shaft using a hexagon head screw, e.g. M 6 x 40.





NOTE: Removing bearing cover
- Working through rectangular cutout (in clutch bell housing), push bearing cover out of bearing hole using a suitable screwdriver.

3. Undo 4 mounting nuts and separate transmission from engine.
- Undo upper mounting nut of starter with Special Tool P 1119.
