Oxygen Sensor Wrenches:

1. Plug-in wrench no. 645Od - 22
2. Open-ended ring wrench no. 4681-2
3. Open-ended ring wrench no. 4681-3
commercially available e.g. by Hazet

REMOVAL




1. Remove sealing frame and charge air cooler. Do not drop the square fastening nuts of the lower charge air cooler bracket.

O2 Connectors:

2. Unplug, unlock and separate oxygen sensor connection (black connector).
3. Drain engine oil at turbocharger oil tray.
4. Remove oil return line between turbocharger and oil pump bracket.

O2 Sensor:

5. Detach oxygen sensor, e.g. using open-ended ring wrench 4681-3 by Hazet.

INSTALLATION
- Screw in oxygen sensor, at the same time turning cable.
- Tightening torque: 50 - 60 Nm (37 - 44 ft lb.)

NOTE: Other values for "Hazet special tool 4681-3": Tightening torque: 38 - 46 Nm (28 - 34 ft lb.)
