Clutch Bleed

Bleeding the clutch operating system

The hydraulic operating system is bled by pumping the pedal.

1. Top up tank.

2. Open bleeder valve at the power unit (arrow).

Pump the clutch pedal until the Pentosin fluid escaping at the bleeder valve is bubble-free. (Use a recipient bottle).

Caution: Make sure that the tank is never drawn empty. Top up as required.

Important Notes

- If a bleeder device filled with Pentosin is available, proceed in the same way as when bleeding previous clutch systems. For this purpose, the bleeder device is connected to the front clutch tank.

- No special bleeding is required for the high-pressure clutch hydraulics.

It is sufficient to actuate the clutch pedal approx. 10 times with the engine running.

- Bleed the hydraulic steering system as before.
