Removing and Installing Rear Spoiler
REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR SPOILER
CAUTION: Damage will result if deformed heat shields are fitted! Damaged or distorted heat shields must be straightened or replaced.
The gurney flap must be removed before the rear spoiler can be removed.

ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR REPLACING THE REAR SPOILER
Vehicles With Park Assistant
NOTE: Additional holes must be drilled for the Park Assistant sensors in the rear spoiler before this component is painted.
Drill holes in accordance with the markings inside the rear spoiler.
1. Drill holes "A" with Dia 6 mm.
2. Enlarge holes "B" to Dia 35 mm using a stepped drill or a centre bit.
3. Check bores by putting on a disc of the Park Assistant sensor or by inserting the sensor.
4. Rework the holes if necessary.

NOTE: Additional cutouts must be made for the impact horns in the rear spoiler before this component is painted.
1. Saw out cutouts "C" in accordance with the markings inside the rear spoiler.
