Installation

1. Prepare the Roof Cargo Container tub,

1.1 Use the enclosed keys to open the locks until they release.





1.2 Open the cargo container cover. Insert the four levers with studs from below, through the access holes. On the inside of the tub, use a washer and a 6 mm star grip-nut over each stud. (Figure 2)

2. Mount the cargo container on the RTS.

2.1 Move the lock covers of the locking tumblers and pull out to unlock. Remove the profile-gasket from the RTS frame.

2.2 Mount the cargo container on the RTS with the assistance of another person.

2.3 Align the cargo container symmetrically to the vehicle and tighten the four star grip-nuts.

2.4 Lock the covers until the locks snap into place.

2.5 Insert the lock assemblies into the frame supports. Lock and attach the dust covers.

3. Removal of the Roof Cargo Container from the RTS.

3.1 Unlock the lock assemblies of the RTS and slide the cylinders to their stops. Open the locks of the cargo container and open the cover.

3.2 Loosen the star grip-nuts and pull the cargo container in its entirety from the groove of the frame support. Remove the cargo container from the RTS with the help of another person.

3.3 Slide the protective seals in the groove of the frame support and install the lock assemblies and the dust covers.
