The air drawn in by the engine flows into the throttle housing (3) via the air filter with mass air flow sensor (1) (attached to the left-hand side of the engine compartment) and a plastic air duct (2).
A muffler which reduces air intake noise caused by the generation of resonant vibrations is integrated in the air duct.
