CAN comfort timeout, air-conditioning system

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on.
- PCM2 on.

Possible cause of fault
- CAN comfort (high) - open circuit.
- CAN comfort (low) - open circuit.

NOTE:
- CAN comfort is connected to the following control modules:
- PCM2 as of model year2003.
- Instrument cluster.
- Air-conditioning system control module.
- Radio.
- The plug connections of control modules connected to CAN comfort are disconnected during troubleshooting. This causes additional CAN-relevant fault codes, e.g. "8005 Instrument cluster" and "800A Air conditioning" to be stored in the fault memory of the PCM2. These fault codes should be initially ignored and should be deleted on completion of the troubleshooting.
