Installing bulbs
CAUTION: Danger of damage to property if bulbs are used or handled incorrectly.
Danger of injury. When installed, the headlight is under high voltage.
- Only bulbs specified in the bulb table may be used.
- Bulbs with a higher wattage may cause damage to the bulb housing.
- To prevent short circuits, the load in question must be switched off while bulbs are changed.
- New bulbs must be clean and free of grease. Therefore, never touch bulbs with your bare hands: To change the bulbs, use a cloth or soft paper.
- Observe the safety instructions when replacing a bulb in a Litronic or Xenon headlight.
- In certain states, it is compulsory to carry spare light bulbs.
