Whistling noise from the loudspeakers when playing a cassette tape on vehicles equipped with the Porsche Communication Management System (PCM).

Information:
It is possible for PCM equipped vehicles (M662) produced before April 30, 1998 to exhibit a whistling noise from the loudspeakers when playing a cassette tape. The noise is usually heard at low volume levels and changes with engine/alternator rpm. A suppressor kit can be retrofitted into vehicles produced prior to April 30, 1998 to address customer complaints concerning this noise.
