Information:
As of October 12, 1998 production and the following VINs, the boost spring and clutch pedal have been optimized for minimal operational noise.

Whenever addressing clutch pedal noises on vehicle produced prior to the above listed VINs, the optimized clutch pedal, boost spring, and bracket should be installed.
