REMOVAL
- Refer to the illustration above during exhaust system removal procedures.
- When removing connecting tubes (5 and 20), slide sleeves (4 and 19) towards the catalytic converters only.
INSTALLATION
- Refer to the illustration above and the information below when installing exhaust system components.
NOTE: After completion of exhaust system services, the ventilation opening of the heat protection lining must be checked for deformation and straightened as necessary.

- Quantity used 5.
Hexagon Head Bolt 8 x 35 mm (2)
- Quantity used 1.
Clamp (3)
- Quantity used 1.
- Always replace.
- Screw connection faces upwards.
Coupling Sleeve (4)
- Quantity used 1.
- Always replace.
- Screw connection faces upwards.
- Sleeve should be centered, arrow mark on connection tube (5) and outer groove on catalytic converter (6) should be visable.
Connection Tube (5)
- Quantity used 1.
- End of tube with embossed arrow faces towards catalytic converter.
Catalytic Converter, Cylinder Row 1-3 (6)
- Quantity used 1.
Gasket (7)
- Quantity used 1.
- Always replace.
Closing Bolt (8)
- Quantity used 1.
- Wrench size 8 mm
Washer 7.4 (9)
