Information:
Until further notice, internal repairs of the 911 Turbo (996) Tiptronic transmission should not be performed. Transmissions found to have internal damage will be replaced. If internal transmission damage occurs, contact the Technical Service Department in Atlanta, Georgia and your respective Porsche District Service Manager before replacing a transmission assembly.

External Repairs To Tiptronic Transmission

External equipment found on the transmission can be repaired or replaced as required. These repairs include:

- Oil seals / sealing rings
- Reverse light switch
- Drain / fill plug
- Viscous clutch
