Deactivate Auto S/M Adj by Means of H-H Trans W/ the PST 2

Deactivating Automatic Seat/Mirror Adjustment By Means of Hand-Held Transmitter With the PST 2

1. Connect the PST 2 with the ignition off, then switch the ignition on.
2. Switch on the PST 2 and wait for the start-up screen.
3. Press the [>>] key to the next level.
4. Select the vehicle type 911 Turbo (996) in the left-hand window using the [down arrow] key.
5. Select the vehicle type 911(996) in the left-hand window using the [down arrow] key.
6. With the [down arrow] key, select the "Seat memory" control module and press the [>>] key to the next level.
7. With the [down arrow] key, select "Modify coding" and press the [>>] key to the next level.
8. Use the [down arrow]/[up arrow] key to select the menu item "Required position for key 1", "Required position for key 2", "Required position for key 3" or "Required position for key 4".
9. Press the [>>] key to alter the coding.
10. Select the menu item "invalid using the [down arrow]/[up arrow] key
11. Press key [F8] (coding).

NOTE: Automatic seat and mirror adjustment is now deactivated for the selected key (hand-held transmitter).
