Components Overview
CAUTION:
The bonded joint does not have its final strength immediately.
The vehicle must not be used until the curing time has elapsed.
In order to ensure that the bonded joint is sufficiently strong, the following boundary conditions must be adhered to:
- Time between applying adhesive and inserting windscreen: max. 10 min
- Temperature: at least 10 °C
- Fixing time: approx. 1 hour
- Curing time: 3 hours
NOTE:
- The removed rear window can be reinstalled if there is no prior damage to the rear window and the rear window was removed without damage.
- When using the activator allow at least 10 minutes drying time after application!
- After inserting the adhesive in the cartridge, observe the open time of 15 minutes! The open time is the time within which the bonding material must be applied and within which the windscreen must be put into the body.
- When applying the adhesive, it is essential to ensure that it overlaps!
- Two persons are needed to insert and adjust the rear window.
