Unlike other integrated phone systems, the modular design of the Porsche Cell Solution does not lock users into one specific model of cell phone. Should the customer decide to change service providers, upgrade phones or toss the keys to another family member, all that is required is a simple exchange of model specific cradles. An auto-mute feature that silences the audio system during phone calls and an external antenna hookup that boosts signal strength go even further.
