Removing cylinder head

- Preliminary work: Removing the camshaft housing

1. Remove the seal between the camshaft housing and the cylinder head. Do not use the seal again.







2. Unscrew cylinder head. Unscrew the twelve internal-serration screws in -turn steps in the order specified. Work according to the order specified in order to avoid distorting the cylinder head.

3. Remove cylinder head. Lift cylinder head straight upward

- Under no circumstances may carbon deposits on the cylinders be removed by mechanical means
