Information:

In the new sports exhaust system the sound is controlled by muffler flaps. Changes from the previous sports exhaust system include:





- Installation of a switch in the center console area which can be used to switch on or off the sports exhaust system to go between standard exhaust sound and sporty exhaust note. The deactivated state is indicated by the light-emitting diode lighting up in the switch.

The exhaust behavior of the vehicle is not affected. The new sports exhaust system is also available as a option when ordering a new Boxster, under Exclusive option XLF.

^When installed, the Porsche logo is visible on the muffler from below.

Warning!
Risk of short circuit and fire - due to work on vehicle electrical system.

> When working on the electrical system, the battery must be disconnected and covered.

> Always route the electrical leads without tension so that no chafing occurs. Secure to existing lines/components using tie-wraps/electrical tape.

Warning!
Danger of burns - due to hot parts of the exhaust system.

> Do not carry out the work until the exhaust system has cooled down or wear suitable protective gloves.
