Tightening Torques

Tightening torques for Cayenne S (M48/00) and Cayenne Turbo (M48/50)

Note:
^ This torque list is organized by assembly and in order of service number.
^ The torque for the coolant pump is provided in Chapter 19.
^ Screws which are tightened with a torque angle must always be replaced with new ones.
^ The tightening sequences are indicated in the figures in the corresponding chapters, and it is essential to observe them.
^ The most important torques are specified at the end of the respective chapters.

The torques in the table generally apply to screws that are not specifically listed.

Note:
^ The quality of the external fastening screws must 10.9.
^ If 8.8 screws are to be installed, the screws must be replaced.
^ Tighten screws 1 to 4 (M6 18.8) to 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten screws 5 to 6 (M6 18.8) to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).
