Removing And Installing Side Direction Indicator Lights







NOTE: Before the direction indicator lights can be removed, the respective wheel housing liner must be partially disassembled.

Removing Side Direction Indicator Lights







1. Remove the two indicator light fastening screws and remove the light unit towards the inside "arrow".
2. Turn the bulb holder a little and remove.







- "A" Variant for the Rest of the World.
- "B" Variant for USA.

Installing Side Direction Indicator Light
1. Insert the bulb holder in the direction indicator and turn slightly, ensuring it is fixed properly.







- "A" Variant for Rest of the World.
- "B" Variant for USA.







2. Install the direction indicator light and secure with the two fastening screws. Tightening torque: 2.2 Nm (1.5 ftlb.).
3. Assemble the wheel housing liners.

Removing And Installing Bulb For Side Direction Indicator Light

NOTE: Partially disassemble the wheel housing liner.







1. Turn the bulb holder a little and remove.
2. Press the bulb in the holder and turn. Pull the bulb out.
3. Take the new bulb, holding in a clean cloth for example, press into the holder and turn it until the bulb is fitted securely.
4. Insert the bulb holder in the direction indicator lamp, press in and turn slightly. Ensure a firm fit.
5. Assemble the wheel housing liners.
