Sunroof / Moonroof: Description and Operation

60 Sliding roof (optional)

The electric sliding/tilting roof available as an option on the 911 Carrera has been retained from the previous 911 Carrera.

It is characterised by a low height and a quiet running noise when opening. The noise-optimised end position to which the roof opens in response to "one-touch" opening has been adapted slightly to reduce the noise level (approx. -10 mm). The sliding/tilting roof can be opened to its full size if desired.

It is operated via the rear control unit.
