681737 Disassembling And Assembling The Centre Console

Preliminary work
1. Remove centre console.
2. Remove front ashtray.
3. Remove cover for rear tray.
4. Remove cigarette lighter.
5. Remove centre console socket.
6. Remove switch for sunroof.

NOTE: Only in vehicle with sunroof.

7. Remove interior monitoring sensor.
8. Remove wire harness for centre console.

Disassembling the centre console

Unclipping fastening nut:

1. Unclip fastening nut and check it, replace if necessary.
2. Turn over centre console.

Removing locking mechanism insert:

3. Unscrew fastening screw -1-.

Removing extension:

4. Press in locking lugs -arrows A- and remove locking mechanism insert -2-.
5. Unscrew fastening screws -1- and remove extension -2- from the centre console -3- (-arrow-).

Assembling the centre console

NOTE: Only if replacing the centre console.

Sticking in sound absorbent film:

1. Remove protective film -1- and stick sound absorbent film -2- on the inside of the centre console -3-.
2. Position extension -2- on the centre console -3- (-arrow-) and secure using the fastening screws -1-.

Installing extension:

3. Press in locking mechanism insert -2- (-arrow-) until it engauges and secure in place using the fastening screws -1-.

Installing locking mechanism insert:

4. Press in fastening nut.

Unclipping fastening nut:

Subsequent work
1. Install wire harness for centre console.
2. Install switch for sunroof.
3. Install interior monitoring sensor.
4. Install centre console socket.
5. Install cigarette lighter.
6. Install cover for rear tray.
7. Installing front ashtray.
8. Install centre console.
