Removing control module trim panel

Preliminary work
1. Remove front seat.

Removing control part trim panel

Installation location for control part trim panel:

Unscrewing front fastening screw:

1. Unscrew front fastening screws -1- from the control part trim panel 2.

Unscrewing the rear fastening screw:

2. Unscrew rear fastening screws -1- from the control part trim panel 2.

Pulling out control part trim panel:

3. Pull out control part trim panel -2- from the cushion in direction of arrow.

Disconnecting electrical plug connection:

4. Disconnect electric plug connection 3 and 4, unscrew fastening screws -5- from the tip switch -6- and take off the tip switch from the control part trim panel 2.

Removing control part trim panel (with mechanical lever)

Pressing out trim panel:

1. Press out trim panel -7- using a plastic spatula.

Unscrewing fastening screw:

2. Unscrew fastening screw -8- from the lever -9- and remove lever.


3. Removing control part trim panel, work step 1, 2, 3.

Disconnecting electrical plug connection:

4. Disconnect electric plug connection -10- by pressing together the lugs arrow.

Installing control part trim panel

Connect electrical plug connection:

1. Position tip switch -6- on the control part trim panel -2- and screw down with the fastening screws 5. Plug in electrical plug connection 3 and 4.

Positioning control part trim panel:

2. Insert control part trim panel -2- into the cushion in direction of arrow.

Screwing down rear control part trim panel:

3. Screw down rear control part trim panel -2- with the fastening screws 1. Tightening torque 2 ftlb.

Screwing down front control part trim panel:

4. Screw down front control part trim panel -2- with the fastening screws 1. Tightening torque 2 ftlb.

Installing control part trim panel (mechanical)

Connecting the electrical plug connection:

1. Connect electrical plug connection 10.
2. Procedure: Installing control part trim panel, work step 2, 3, 4.

Screwing down lever:

3. Position lever -9- on seat, screw down fastening screw -8-. Tightening torque 4.5 ftlb.

Pressing in trim panel:

4. Press in trim panel.

Subsequent work
1. Install front seat.
