Preliminary work

Preliminary work for the dashboard insert
1. Remove instrument cluster.

Removing dashboard insert
1. Adjust the steering wheel as far down and as far back as it will go (as seen from the direction of travel).

Removing dashboard insert:

2. Unclip both ends of the ornamental strip to the left and right
3. Unfasten securing screws -1- and -2-.

Pull out the dashboard insert:

4. Push down the dashboard insert out of the dashboard mounting from the top using a plastic trowel.

Installing dashboard insert

Installing dashboard insert:

1. Position the dashboard insert in the dashboard mounting and use the fastening screws -1- 4, 2X13-C 1 ftlb and -2- 4, 2X13-C 1 ftlb to screw it firmly into place.
2. Clip in both the end caps for the ornamental strip.
