Removing And Installing Front Belt Lock







Removing belt lock

1. Remove front seat. Refer to Removing and installing front seat.
2. Cut and remove tie-wrap.







3. Release plug -1- -(press on small arrows)- and remove it.
4. Move the cover -2- of the plug -1- in the direction of the arrow -A- and remove it.







5. Remove electrical lead -3- from the plug -1-.







6. Cut tie-wrap -4- and remove electrical lead -3- from the metal clips -5-.







7. Remove electrical lead -3- from the metal clip -6-.







8. Unscrew fastening screw -7-.
9. Remove electrical lead -3- and take off belt lock -8-.

Installing belt lock

1. Position belt lock and tighten using the fastening screw -7-.







2. Insert electrical lead -3- and press it into the metal clip -6-.

INFORMATION: The electrical lead -3- must not be routed too tightly around the seat cushion. Check that the lead is free of tension by moving the belt lock back and forwards.

3. Press electrical lead -3- into the metal clips -5-.







4. Secure the electrical lead -3- around the cushion carrier using a tie-wrap -4-.
5. Insert electrical lead -3- into the plug -1-.







6. Slide the cover -2- onto the plug -1- in the direction of the arrow -A-.







7. Push on the plug -1- until the locking tabs engage audibly.







8. Secure wire set with new tie-wraps.
9. Install front seat. Refer to Removing and installing front seat.
