631537 Disassembling And Assembling Front Apron

Preliminary work
1. Remove front apron.
2. Remove fog lights.
3. Remove right and left flasher repeater.

NOTE: Only for vehicles with headlight cleaning system.

4. Remove spray nozzle for headlight washer system.
5. Remove front ventilation grille.
6. Remove front wiring harness.

NOTE: Only for vehicles with headlight cleaning system.

7. Remove hose for headlight washer system.
8. Remove number plate cover.

Disassembling front apron

Removing cover cap

Main Illustration Of Front Apron:

1. Carefully press out the cover cap -2- with a screwdriver. The securing cord -3- the cover cap -2- and the front end -1- are joined as they pull out.

1. Carefully press in the lugs of the covering frame at the side -2- with a screwdriver -arrow A-. First remove the covering frame -2- downwards -direction of arrow B-. Afterwards pull rearward -direction of arrow C- out of the front end -1-.

1. Insert a screw driver between front apron -1- and support -2, 3- and carefully take off. Check support -2, 3-, replace if necessary.

Removing Support For Wire Harness:

2. Take off and check fastening nut-4-, replace if necessary.

1. Pull off joining latch -2- from the front apron -1-.

1. Position joining latch -2- on the front apron -1- and bond.

Install support

1. Press in fastening nuts -4-.
2. Position support -2, 3- on the front apron -1- and press in.

Installing Support For Wire Harness:

1. Insert frame laterally -2- upwards into-direction of arrow A- the front apron -1- and lock -direction of arrow B-.

Installing Side Covering Frame:

1. Pull the securing cord -3- into the eyelet of the front apron. Clip cap -2- into the front apron -1-.

Installing Cover Cap:

Subsequent work
1. Install number plate cover.
2. Install front wiring harness.
3. Install front ventilation grille.

NOTE: Only for vehicles with headlight cleaning system.

4. Install hose for headlight washer system.

6. Install right and left flasher repeater.
7. Install fog lights.
8. Install front apron.
