Removing And Installing Wiper Motor
Technical values
Preliminary work for wiper motor
Disconnect the battery and cover terminal or battery.

Removing wiper motor
1. Unscrew the fastening nut -1- for the wiper link drive and remove the drive.
2. Unscrew the three fastening screws -2- for the wiper motor and the fastening screw -3- for the wiper link.
3. Carefully raise the wiper link and remove the wiper motor downwards.
4. Unlock the electric connector a and pull it out of the wiper motor.
Installing wiper motor
1. Carefully raise the wiper link and position the wiper motor from below.
2. Push electrical connector onto wiper motor until it is felt to engage.
3. Secure the wiper motor with the three fastening screws -2- to the wiper link.
Tightening torque: 6 ftlb.
4. Screw down the fastening screw -3- for the wiper link.
Tightening torque: 7.5 ftlb.
5. Connect battery, ignition on, and actuate wiper motor.
6. Allow wiper motor to run in parking position. Place the link on the drive on the wiper motor. Place fastening nuts -1-. The installation position of the link is identified by a 0 marking (parking position) on the console.
7. If the position -0- matches, then screw down the fastening nut -1-.
Tightening torque: 13 ftlb.
8. Connect the battery.
9. Switch on the wiper motor and check the wiper position.

Carry out work instruction after disconnecting the battery.
