Removing And Installing Front Lid Hinge

Technical values







Preliminary work

1. Remove cowl panel cover. Refer to Removing and installing cover.
2. Removing front gas spring. Refer to Removing and installing front gas spring.

Removing front lid hinge







1. Unscrew fastening screws -1- of front lid hinge -2- and remove lid hinge.







Installing front lid hinge







1. Align lid hinge -2- roughly to the body according to the old attachment points and tighten using the fastening screws -1-. Tightening torque, Final tightening: 7.2 ftlb.







Subsequent work

Installing front gas spring. Refer to Removing and installing front gas spring.

Install cowl panel cover. Refer to Removing and installing cover.
