Attachment C - Work Procedure

Put the lever for convertible top emergency operation, which was previously sent to you into the vehicle's tool kit.

1. Open the luggage compartment lid.

Note!
Place the toolbox on a soft surface to prevent it from getting scratched.

2. Open up the toolbox according to instructions in the Owner's Manual 'Controls, Safety, Instruments - Front luggage compartment', by releasing the twist locks and pull it up out of the guide pins on the luggage compartment floor.





3. Place toolbox on a soft surface in the position shown in, Figure 1.

4. Remove towing lug, Figure 1, Item A and tool kit, Figure 1, Item B from the toolbox.





5. Take the lever for convertible top emergency operation, which was previously sent to you, Figure 2, Item B out of its packaging and pull the safety cap, Figure 2, Item A off the lever.





6. Place the lever for convertible top emergency operation blade first from the side into the bracket reserved for it in the toolbox, Figure 3, Arrow and slide it in fully.





7. Place the towing lug, Figure 4, Item A and tool kit, Figure 4, Item B back into the bracket reserved for them in the toolbox.

8. Insert the toolbox according to instructions in Owner's Manual 'Controls, Safety, Instruments - Front luggage compartment' into the guide pins on the luggage compartment floor and close it by locking the twist locks.

9. Close the luggage compartment lid.

10. Enter the workshop service action in the Warranty and Maintenance booklet.
