Removing bearing for spare wheel mount






1. Remove rear apron.





2. Release plug connection -1- and disconnect it (-arrow A-).





3. Unscrew fastening screw -2-.
4. Pull off cover -3- on lower bearing, guiding the wire harness-4-inward.





5. Unclip wire harness -4- on the cap -6-.
6. Guide wire harness -4- through the bearing -5-.





7. Remove cover caps -6 and 7-.
8. Unscrew fastening screws -8-.
9. Remove bearing -5-.

Installing bearing for spare wheel mount









1. Fit bearing -5- to the body.
2. Screw in fastening screws -8- and tighten to the specified tightening torque. Tightening torque 24 ft. lbs. ± 2 ft. lbs.
3. Attach caps -6 and 7-.





4. Guide wire harness -4- through the bearing -5-.
5. Clip wire harness -4- onto the cap -6-.





6. Push cover -3- onto lower bearing, guiding the wire harness-4-outward.
7. Screw in fastening screw -2- and tighten to the specified tightening torque. Tightening torque 4 ft. lbs.





8. Connect plug connection -1- until the locking tab engages audibly -arrow A-.
9. Install rear apron. -> Installing rear apron'
