Vehicle Type:
Cayenne/Cayenne S
Model Year:
As of 2005 up to 2006
Situation:
Retrofitting
Restriction: Only for vehicles with CD radio CDR23.
Notes:
PCM2.1 including navigation module with Model Level A or B has the following equipment and functions:
^ Navigation data is now on one DVD, not on several CD-ROMs as previously supplied. This means that it is possible to navigate and produce continuous route guidance within a continent.
^ Separate DVD navigation drive under the passenger seat. As a result, the CD drive in the PCM2.1 can be used as a pure audio CD drive.
Antenna diversity is not a component of the retrofit kit for PCM2.1 including navigation module.
If "PCM2.1 including navigation module" is retrofitted at the same time as "Extended off-road navigation", the adjustment function "Compass menu" in the instrument cluster and the menu functions "Set compass magnetic field zone" and "Calibrate compass" are no longer used in the factory installed option "Compass display in instrument cluster (I-no. QR1)".
The compass display in the instrument cluster is then controlled using PCM2.1.
The optical waveguide and cover for DVD navigation drive must be ordered separately according to vehicle equipment!
Note:
Check software version of installed PCM2.1 system. If the version is only "Model Level A", it must be updated to "Model Level B" using the software (955.044.900.07) provided (see also Technical Information PCM2.1 navigation update).
