The following quick reference information is based on complaint and lists causes and remedial measures system components in the PCM2.1 system connection.

Work Procedure:








PCM entire system

The function "Switching PCM on/off is faulty.
No sound output/missing ext. components.

PCM operator control unit

"Mute" function is deactivated.














DVD navigation

No GPS reception.
No navigation announcement.
Message: "Insert navigation DVD".
Inaccurate vehicle location/representation on the map.
Roads, rivers, and woods are not displayed on the map.
Map display does not change, remains unchanged.

















Telephone

SIM card is not recognized.
TWIN SIM card
PIN code
Special features in the telephone network.
Volume/mute
Hands-free
Telephone does not function, restart connection.





BOSE sound system

Playback volume changes in normal driving
Sound failure in sound system.





Satellite radio faulty (USA only)

Functions are not adjustable.
In Sat operation, "SCAN" button does not function in multi-function steering wheel.








Reversing camera

Camera cannot be selected in the PCM.
In TV operation, there is no sound with extended camera.





TV reception

Australian vehicles: With "ignition on" and released handbrake, a warning message appears instead of a TV picture.

NON-Australian vehicles: TV picture is displayed only when parking brake is engaged.
