New Light-running Oil/Modified Plates

As a model improvement, all Tiptronic transmissions in the 911 series for model year 2005 use a new ATF light-running oil as well as modified plates. The modified plates improve shifting comfort and the light-running oil reduces friction losses in the gearbox. The new light-running oil also enables the ATF change intervals to be extended from 100,000 miles (160,000 km) to 120,000 miles (180,000 km).
