Axle Nut

Rear Suspension
Tighten axle nut (drive shaft to wheel bearing housing) if it was removed (vehicle lowered, brakes operated by 2nd fitter).
Tightening torque 460 Nm (340 ftlb.)

Front Suspension
Tighten the central nut at the wheel carrier or, with the 911 Carrera 4/911 Turbo, the drive shaft fastening at the side of the wheel to 460 Nm (340 ftlb.). Actuate the brake while doing this.
