Information:
The new 911 Carrera/S, Cabriolet, Targa, GT3 (997) vehicles require a special card to remove the indicator light assembly for servicing, such as bulb replacement. Porsche AG has changed the way the card is delivered, previously, the card was included in the owner's manual folder, now the card is included with the new vehicle accessories in the front luggage compartment. Upon new vehicle handover to the customer, the card should be handed to the customer or placed into the owner's manual folder.

It is recommended that your dealership make this unlocking card part of your shops tool assortment. They can be ordered through our Parts Department using normal ordering procedures.

The unlocking card is a plastic card (similar to credit card) with the proper thickness to unlock the front indicator light assembly for removal.
