Removing and Installing Convertible Top Lock

Technical values







Preliminary work

Move convertible top to service position. Refer to Convertible top service position.

Removing convertible top lock







1. Unscrew the four fastening screws -1-.







2. Remove convertible top lock -2- from the roof frame -3- in a downward direction -arrow-.

Installing convertible top lock







1. Position convertible top lock -1- from below -arrow- on the roof frame -2-.







2. Coat the four fastening screws -3- with screw-locking lacquer and tighten. Tightening torque: 4.5 Nm (3.5 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

1. End service position. Refer to Convertible top service position
2. Check gap dimensions for convertible top, adjust if necessary. Refer to Diagram - body gap dimensions.
