Removing And Installing Backrest Pocket

Removing backrest pocket

Removing cover for front middle backrest







1. Press cover for backrest -1- carefully out of the backrest shell -2- using a screwdriver -3-.







2. Insert your hand into the top of the backrest cover -1- and disengage it by pulling it up out of the backrest frame -2- ( -arrow A- ). Then press cover for backrest together slightly in the middle -arrows B- and pull forwards and out.







INFORMATION: Only for vehicles with heated seats.

3. Disconnect electric plug connection for backrest seat heating -1-.







Removing backrest pocket







1. Unscrew fastening screws -1- with washers -2- on the inside.







2. Pull backrest pocket -3- out slightly at the top and disengage upwards.

Replacing cover for backrest pocket







1. Remove cover for backrest pocket.

Disengage cover for backrest pocket -1- out of the plastic frame -2- all the way round.







2. Install cover for backrest pocket.

Engage cover for backrest pocket -1- in the plastic frame -2- all the way round.







Installing backrest pocket







1. Engage backrest pocket -3- in the backrest shell and press in at the top.







2. Screw in fastening screws -1- with washers -2- on the inside onto the backrest pocket.

Installing cover for front middle backrest







INFORMATION: Only for vehicles with heated seats.

1. Connect electric plug connection for backrest seat heating -1-.







2. Engage cover for backrest -1- in the backrest frame -2- at the top -arrow A-.







3. Press in cover for backrest -1- in the middle -arrows B- until the locking tabs engage -inset-.
4. Press cover for backrest -1- into the backrest shell -2- at the bottom using a plastic wedge -3-.
