941419 Removing And Installing Headlight Mounting

Preliminary work

Preliminary work - headlight mounts
Remove the headlights.
Remove the front spoiler.
Remove front wheel housing liner.

Testing and adjusting headlight mount

NOTE: The headlight cover lens should lie approximately 2 mm below the body edge.

Edge Of Body:

- Where the headlight housing joins the body, both should be in the same plane (flush).

Factory Fitting Of The Adjusting Element Fastening Nuts:

Adjust fastening nuts to the same height as the old unit and tighten gently by hand.
1. Adjust fastening nuts to the same height as the old unit and tighten gently by hand.

Mounting Plate Removed:

2. Press headlight housing firmly into the body and lock.
3. After adjustment, tighten the fastening nuts. Tightening torque 6 ftlb. ±1.5 ftlb.

Subsequent work

Subsequent work - headlight mounts
Install front wheel housing liner.
Install the front spoiler.
Installing headlights.
