Removing And Installing Auxiliary Headlight

Removing auxiliary headlight












1. Unscrew both fastening screws -1-.







2. Pull down headlight at the side -A- and remove it from front apron.







3. Release electric connectors -1, 2- -A- and remove from auxiliary headlight.

Installing auxiliary headlamp

ATTENTION:
Auxiliary headlamp is inserted into the front spoiler at a tilt.
Paint damage on the front spoiler.
- Carefully insert auxiliary headlamp into the guides of the front apron.
- Make sure that the guide of the housing is inserted into the guide of the front spoiler.

1. Make sure that the ventilation connection piece is correctly seated on the auxiliary headlamp.







2. Connect the electric connectors -1, 2- until they are felt to engage.







3. Push auxiliary headlight into front apron, ensuring that the locking tab -A- is engaged in the front apron.







4. Push auxiliary headlight on locking tab side -A- upwards and secure using both fastening screws -1-.

Subsequent work for auxiliary headlight

NOTE: On installing a new auxiliary headlight, the adjustment must be checked with a headlight adjustment unit and adjusted if necessary.







Adjust the auxiliary headlight using a size 30 Torx socket wrench.
