Removing And Installing Auxiliary Headlight

Removing auxiliary headlamp












1. Lift up cover for auxiliary headlight from below and unclip it from the front apron.







2. Unscrew the three fastening screws -1- and remove the headlights from the front apron.







3. Release the electric connector from the fog-light bulb -1- -A- and disconnect it, turn the holder for the parking light -2- (bayonet lock) and remove from the headlight.

Installing auxiliary headlamp

1. Insert parking light holder in the auxiliary headlight and lock it (bayonet lock). Push electric connector onto fog-light bulb until it clicks into place.







2. Position the auxiliary headlight in the front apron and secure it with the three fastening screws.







3. First, insert cover laterally -A-, then -B- in the front apron and clip it in.

Subsequent work for auxiliary headlight

NOTE: On installing a new auxiliary headlight, the adjustment must be checked with a headlight adjustment unit and adjusted if necessary.







Using a Torx socket wrench (size 30), adjust the auxiliary headlight through the cover on the adjusting screw -2-.
