Preliminary work

Remove front left wheel.

Remove front left wheel housing liner.

Remove cover of plenum chamber on left.

Drain windscreen washer water with the pump for windscreen or headlights. If this does not function, the filled tank be removed.

1. Lift lever on water filler neck and pull out the filler neck.
2. Release water connection for the windscreen washer spray nozzles and pull apart.
3. Release water connection for the headlight washer spray nozzles and pull apart.
4. Unscrew fastening screw -2- and pull the tank from the mounting point on the A-pillar.







5. Release the electrical plugs -a- and pull them off.

Installing tank for windscreen washer system







1. Retain the tank in the wheel housing and push in electrical plug connections until plugs are felt to engage.







2. Engage the windscreen washer tank in the A-pillar and secure with the fastening screw -2-.
Tightening torque: 15 ftlb.

3. Engage the electrical leads in the windscreen washer tank.
4. Connect water connection for the windscreen washer spray nozzles.
5. Connect water connection for the headlight washer spray nozzles.
6. Route and engage the water lines to the tank.

Subsequent work

Subsequent work - tank for windscreen washer system
Install front left wheel housing liner.

Install front left wheel.

Install cover of plenum chamber on left.
