Removing And Installing Wiring Harness For Additional Heating
Preliminary work
Remove complete heater.
Removing wiring harness for additional heating
1. Release connector -Arrow A- and pull off -Arrow B-.
2. Release connector -Arrow A- and pull off -Arrow B-.
3. Release inner connector -1--Arrow A- and pull it off -Arrow B-.
4. Release outer connector -2--Arrows C- and pull off -Arrow D-.
5. Pull off line together with water pipe clip -Arrow-.
6. Mark the exact installation position of the line in the clips with adhesive strips -A-.
7. Open the clips -Arrows B- and remove the line -Arrow C-.
8. Unscrew clips -Arrows- and remove from threaded bolt.
Installing wiring harness for additional heating
1. Push the clips onto the threaded bolts -Arrow-.
NOTE: When replacing the wiring harness, transfer the position markings of the clips to the new harness.
2. Insert wiring harness in the clips -Arrows A- and press in the clip to the first notch only -Arrows B- - do not press down.
3. Align wiring harness with the clips at the adhesive tape markings -Arrows C--Arrows D- and press in the clips fully -Arrows B-.
4. Clip the line to the water pipe again -Arrow-.
5. Push on connector -Arrow A- until the locking tab -Arrow B- is felt to engage.
6. Plug in outer connector -2--Arrow A- until the locking tabs are felt to engage -Arrows B-.
7. Plug in inner connector -1--Arrow C- until the locking tab -Arrow D- is felt to engage.
8. Plug in connector -Arrow A- until the locking tab -Arrow B- is felt to engage.
Subsequent work
Install complete heater.
