- Ignition on
- Fuses of the 'transverse lock control unit' are OK
- Battery voltage is OK
- Plug on 'transverse lock control unit' connected correctly
- Battery for Porsche System Tester II No.9588 charged
Possible cause of fault
- Incorrect vehicle type selected in the Porsche System Tester II No.9588
- Porsche System Tester II No.9588 is not connected correctly or is faulty
- Power supply to the 'transverse lock control unit' is not OK
- 'K-line' to 'transverse lock control unit' faulty
- 'CAN drive' does not function: plug connection to DME control module must be checked for proper seating and contact
- 'Transverse lock control unit' does not function

- Pin 11 'CAN drive (low)'
- Pin 23 'K-line'
- Pin 41 'terminal 15 power supply via fuse F47/fuse carrier at left of dashboard'
- Pin 42 'CAN drive (high)'
- Pin 46 'terminal 30 power supply via fuse F22/fuse carrier at left of dashboard'
- Pin 47 'ground from body ground pin MB41_ring 2'
