Diagnostic conditions
- Internal KESSY control module function test

Possible cause of fault
- Disconnecting relay (for interruption to battery positive voltage) is active (ignition cannot be switched on)
- Disconnecting relay (for interruption to battery positive voltage) faulty
- Control module faulty

Affected pins
- Disconnecting relay (for interruption to battery positive voltage) in current distributor (under left seat)

KESSY control module plug A:
- Pin 21 'CAN drive (low)'
- Pin 22 'CAN drive (high)'

Diagnosis/troubleshooting

DANGER:
Danger of personal injury due to risk of fire in the event of short circuits in wiring harness and risk of fluids emerging from disconnecting relay (for interruption to battery positive voltage) when pressed.
- The disconnecting relay (for interruption to battery positive voltage) must only be pressed by trained and authorised staff
- Damage, abrasions or squashed wires in the wiring harness must be located and either repaired or replaced
- Short circuits to B+, short circuits to ground and open circuits in the entire wiring harness must be eliminated or repaired
- Mechanical components must not be damaged in any way that could cause emerging fluids to ignite in the event of a short circuit
